Waste container wheels

The wheels used for waste containers depend on the size and weight of the container in question. Nose wheels are used for 240-litre containers for household waste. These are plastic wheels with an extending axle on one side, which is attached to the mounting bar under the container. Plastic wheels are used for larger waste containers of 1100 litres/1.1 m³. The steel wheels are often used for waste containers of 2.3 m³. The containers themselves are made of plastic or galvanised material. The waste container wheels feature steel forks and rims. The steel rims are equipped with specially shaped spokes to add stability. That way, a waste container wheel can handle greater loads. HACO is known for its high-quality wheels for these four-wheeled waste containers.

Furniture wheels

The HACO furniture wheels are made of steel. These wheels feature a low height and high load capacities. This makes it easy to move heavy furniture. The small furniture wheels are often integrated into the wooden legs of couches and chairs. They are also applied to table legs. These wheels are used for living room furniture, dining room furniture or bedroom furniture.

Sweeper wheels

HACO develops support wheels for street sweepers. These wheels mainly offer additional stability. Support wheels for street sweepers are mounted at the front of the machine, near the brushes. They keep the machine from toppling over while cleaning the street. Since street sweepers are used outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, the wheels need to be able to handle this. As such, the wheels are fully enclosed, which makes them dirt resistant. These wheels need to handle a lot outdoors. For instance, they need to be resistant to road salt and street waste. These support wheels roll well on uneven surfaces such as bumps or areas covered with leaves. On top of this, they are waterproof, making them suitable for driving through water or in the rain.

Rehabilitation wheels

HACO rehabilitation wheels feature 2-component tires. The rim is pressed in the factory, after which a first tire layer is moulded around it. The second tire component has the properties of a pneumatic tire. The combination of these two components reduces the risk of flat tires without compromising the tire's comfort. The wheels use an air reserve component. These non-flat wheels are made in various sizes. Smaller wheels offer increased manoeuvrability for sports wheelchairs, while larger wheels can also be used for Kickbikes. The sizes in between are used for walkers and rehabilitation wheelchairs.

Transport and machine wheels

Transport and machine wheels are larger and more stable than furniture wheels. Heavy-duty wheels are an example of transport wheels. These wheels can bear significant loads. This assortment also includes conveyor belt rollers for the transport of luggage or mail baskets, for example. These rollers are sometimes also produced with an exterior rubber coat. This makes the rollers less slippery, offering increased grip on the conveyor belt. Machine wheels are also used for larger furniture. Similarly, HACO machine wheels are regularly used for smaller devices in the medical sector, like in hospitals.
